At Games Galore and More, we have two email lists you can join. The first is the GGM Announcement list, where you will be informed of the activities on our site, and GGM Babble, our Communications and information list where our members can email each other and discuss varying topics.
GGm Announcement list:
This list is an announce only list. You will not be able to post to it, but you will receive a daily email informing you of the activities and events happening on Games Galore and More. This is a very low traffic list. You can subscribe by sending a blank email to: GamesGaloreAndMore+subscribe@groups.io. It may take up to 24 hours for your subscription request to be approved.
If you write to this list, the members of management will receive the email.

GGM-Babble
This list is open to all our members. Once you have joined this group, feel free to chat with others about anything you wish to discuss. We ask that you use good judgment when choosing what you want to write about, but anything goes as long as it is not inflammatory towards anyone, and does not use inappropriate language.
You must bee an active member of the Games Galore and More community for at least thirty days, attending at least 4 events per month in order to participate on our Babble List. As long as the list guidelines are followed, and you meet the minimum requirements for being an active member of GGM, you may continue to enjoy the benefits of this list.

Guidelines and Rules for the GGM Babble list:
- Clean up your emails. Nothing annoys someone more than when people reply or forward emails and leave the messages messy, for example, an e-mail chain that includes excessive carets (>>>), or pages and pages of e-mail addresses that weren’t protected using Bcc.
- When you reply to an email list, remember to add something to the thread. Replying to say I loved it, Amen Brother, or I agree, should be sent directly to the sender of the email you are reading. If it’s your birthday, and you get several emails from a variety of individuals, Do not reply to each individual email by replying to the list. Write a general reply to all of those who wished you a happy birthday, or reply to the individual directly and that will reduce list clutter dramatically.
- Keep it short and get to the point. The long e-mail is a thing of the past. Write concisely, with lots of white space, so as to not overwhelm the recipient. Make sure when you look at what you’re sending, it doesn’t look like a burden to read .
- While Feel good stories are interesting, and can be fun to read, please keep them to a minimum. The general purpose of the GGM-babble list is to keep our members informed and to discuss site activities. You can however, solicit members to be added to your personal distribution list if you wish.
- If you have any issues with the list members, any of the games, site rules or site policies, please feel free to contact our management. Emailing the list to gripe and whine is frowned upon and may result in a warning from the management. If this behavior continues, the list member may be placed on moderated status or banned from the list for an undetermined amount of time.
We hope that by following these five basic rules, we can make the GGM-Babble list one that you will enjoy.
If anyone would like to open up a channel at any time during the day, you can use this list to announce what time you will be there, and invite others to join you.

Once you have subscribed to either list, you will receive a message asking you to confirm your subscription. Once you have replied to this message you should be added to the group.
